Senior Java Developer Backend

Now, we are looking for an analytical, results-driven Java developer.
As a senior Java developer, you will work with team leads und product management to define software requirements and take the technical lead on projects as well as building new services and developing existing ones for our products. You should have excellent communication, computer, and self-management skills.

As a member of the team, you’ll work closely with international engineers in Germany to ensure system consistency, create more efficient services and improve user experience. You should be knowledgeable, collaborative, and motivated.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer programming, computer science, or a related field
  • 4+ years’ experience as a Java backend developer
  • Experience working in an agile environment
  • Experience in the following databases: PostgreSQL, OracleDB
  • Extensive experience in microservices development including unit testing and security
  • Strong knowledge of Java, Spring, Web Services, Design patterns
  • Motivated, demonstrates initiative, team player, excellent communicator and problem solver, commercial awareness, client focused
  • Focus on efficiency, user experience, and process improvement
  • Excellent project and time management skills
  • Strong problem solving and verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently or with a group

  • Compile and analyse data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborating with the front-end developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive codes to enhance the user experience
  • Recording data and reporting it to proper parties, such as clients or leadership
  • Participating in continuing education and training to remain current on best practices, learn new programming approaches, and assist other team members
  • Taking lead in technical projects, as needed
